Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-09.
By using DriveRock ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What the service does
The service lets a signed-in user upload files and folders and generate links to share them. Anyone with a share link can view or download what it points to, without needing an account of their own — that is the intended behavior, not a flaw.
Your account
You sign in with a verified email address (by magic link, one-time code, or Google sign-in). You are responsible for anything done from your account. The operator may suspend or remove an account, or the files associated with it, at their discretion — most likely in response to abuse, excessive resource use, or a request from a rights holder or law enforcement.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to store or share content that:
- is illegal where you or the recipient are located;
- infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights;
- contains malware or is intended to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system;
- you do not have the right to store or share.
The operator does not routinely inspect file content, but reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate this section when it becomes aware of a violation.
Share links are your responsibility
A share link grants access to whoever holds it, with no further check. Sending a link to the wrong person, or posting it somewhere public, has the same effect as sharing the file directly. The service is not responsible for access resulting from a link you shared, forwarded, or otherwise disclosed.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, warranties of availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that uploaded content will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service — including loss of data, loss of access, or unauthorized access resulting from a share link.
Changes
The service and these terms may change over time. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. The operator may suspend or terminate your access at any time, particularly for violations of the Acceptable use section above.
